Basic Resume Writing Guide
This is a very basic resume for people just out of school and looking for work.
During your basic resume writing, please replace all tags in the basic resume template e.g. [ address ] with your own information:

[ e-mail address]
[ One sentence or two on your career plans and objectives ]
EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE: (starting with current or most recent job)

Company Name, Location, Type of Business
Job Title, Brief description of position and duties ]
[ Date(s), Institution Name, Faculty, Location
Degree in Subject, Year Graduated
Information about thesis/dissertation, major courses, etc. ]

To complete your basic resume writing check the spelling and grammar of your resume. Use the word processor's spell and grammar checker. If you are not confident of your ability to detect grammatical, punctuation and English or other language usage errors or if you need help in organizing your resume, bring it to a professional for assistance.
