Our Content team are the local, regional, and global professionals reassuring clients that our software isn’t just cutting edge – it’s world class too. Responsible for maintaining LEAP’s global standards of care and expertise, the team harnesses a deep and complex understanding of the intricacies of law across jurisdictions and over time – ensuring LEAP’s output is always current, compliant, and appropriate.
From database design to document management and legal research, you’ll turn an encyclopedic knowledge of the law into a more streamlined and automated global LEAP experience. As a result, LEAP helps law firms help people and make a real difference.
The role
We are seeking a Content Specialist to join our successful team. LEAP combines world-leading technology with the provision of quality content, which enables our clients to produce legal documentation both quickly and accurately.
The Content team will help differentiate our company from all others. As a Content Specialist, you will be working with Content Database Designers and Developers to continually improve matter types, tables, layouts, and forms for LEAP clients across multiple areas of law. You will build and utilise your strong experience using LEAP, your knowledge of the legal industry and processes to ensure our Content meet the needs of the LEAP clients.
Our Content Specialist should be technically minded and interested in using technology to solve problems and complete tasks. You might not complete the technical work, but you are not afraid to learn the lingo, understand what happens ‘under the hood’ and enthusiastically communicate the benefits.
Requirements
What you’ll do
- Investigate and advise on how our Content should meet the unique needs of clients in The Netherlands.
- Conduct in-depth legal research to identify areas of need or improvement in our Content to support clientele across different regions in The Netherlands.
- Engage directly with Dutch users to gather feedback and work closely with the wider Content team to implement recommended improvements.
- Play a key role in new content initiatives, ensuring the successful delivery of projects tailored for clients in The Netherlands.
- Clearly and succinctly convey information and ideas to individuals and groups through various formats such as presentations, webinars, or internal training sessions, ensuring understanding and engagement.
- This role is ideal for someone with a legal background in Dutch law seeking a non-traditional legal role or career change
- Combine legal knowledge with the ability to thrive in a software company setting.
What you’ll bring
- Strong written and spoken skills in English and Dutch languages are essential.
- Experience as a lawyer, paralegal, or law clerk, ideally with experience in The Netherlands.
- Experience using legal document management software and Microsoft Office at an intermediate level or higher.
- Strong commitment to delivering excellent client service and achieving the best results.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality work autonomously, efficiently managing time and resources to meet deadlines.
- Proactively staying informed about legal updates and changes in regulations, continuously enhancing your knowledge through various formats to ensure compliance and relevancy.
