Job Description

The Azure System Administrator will collaborate with various teams to design, implement, and maintain Azure-based solutions while adhering to industry best practices and company policies.

**Candidates must reside in Philippines for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Azure Infrastructure Management

  • Provision, configure, and manage Azure virtual machines, virtual networks, storage, and other infrastructure components.
  • Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions across multiple platforms.
  • Implement and maintain a multisite Active Directory
  • Maintain workstations via Microsoft Endpoint Manager

Security and Compliance:

  • Monitor Azure resources for security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Implement and manage Azure security features, including firewalls, identity and access management, and encryption.

Performance Optimization:

  • Monitor Azure resources and optimize performance through scaling, load balancing, and resource allocation adjustments.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and network latency issues.

Backup and Disaster Recovery:

  • Set up and manage Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery solutions to ensure data protection and business continuity.
  • Test and document disaster recovery plans and conduct regular drills.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

  • Configure Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics to proactively monitor system health and diagnose issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Azure-related incidents, collaborating with cross-functional teams when necessary.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts related to network, server and connection issues

Automation and Scripting:

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, ARM templates, etc.) to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Implement Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD workflows.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Azure infrastructure, procedures, and best practices.
  • Share knowledge with team members and assist in their professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as an Azure System Administrator or similar role.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate) are a plus.
  • Experience with maintaining and reviewing Firewall Rules
  • Knowledgeable with implementing a multisite Active Directory
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services and architecture.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager templates.
  • Solid understanding of network principles and security best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
