The Role:

This person will primarily lead implementation projects to onboard new Outgoing, Travel, and Risk Management customers. These projects will include collaboration with the customer to create the necessary data conditions, build the necessary business processes, validate that business needs have been met, train on software features and functionality, and respond to issue reports from assigned clients.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain a high level of expertise in Terra Dotta Outgoing, Travel, and Risk Management products, furnished by an in-depth knowledge of study abroad and risk management principles in higher education and excellent project management skills.
  • Assist new customers with implementing Terra Dotta software by learning about their business needs and following best practices to meet those needs.
  • Plan the project, track its progress, and resolve workflow issues.
  • Evaluate customer needs and develop configurations that support business processes.
  • Meet frequently with clients via Microsoft Teams video meeting (or similar) to accomplish project objectives.
  • Define implementation plans and execute delivery.
  • Resolve issues encountered during the project by reviewing and clarifying reported problems, searching the knowledge base for solutions, replicating scenarios in a testing environment, conferring with coworkers, and communicating solutions.
  • Maintain detailed records and document billable time spent on the project.
  • Facilitate a seamless client handoff from Services to Customer Success at the end of the project.
  • Provide software training to customers and annually present at training engagements.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure high-quality customer support.
  • Build collaborative relationships with customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to other strategic company initiatives such as the Live Chat and Learning Center offerings.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by management.

What You Need To Get The Job Done:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a study abroad or risk management office at a college, university, or program provider; preferably at least 5 years
  • Solid understanding of international education, including knowledge of varied study abroad program models, trends in the field, and best practices in study abroad and risk management followed commonly in higher education.
  • Knowledge of project management frameworks, processes, and techniques
