About the Role

We’re looking for someone to join our Data team, working on various internal projects to help the business make more informed decisions. The role will focus on Power BI and a mix of other technologies.

What you will be doing

• Leading & overseeing larger complex projects.
• Provide guidance to the team & assist in troubleshooting issues to speed up resolutions.
• Propose & implement innovative solutions for process improvement.
• Produce reporting for all areas of the business, mainly using Power BI to create interactive visual reports.
• Understand reporting requirements in a BI context.
• Designing data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• Establishing relationships between data and develop tabular and multidimensional data models.
• Support wider function initiatives e.g. implementation of new systems

What we’re looking for

• Proficient in advanced DAX & Power Query in Power BI desktop.

• Strong experience in Power BI Developing.

• Understanding of the ITIL framework and ITIL Foundation qualification is desirable.

• Competent in the use of the following tools:

  • Microsoft Software – especially Teams, MS Excel & PowerPoint
  • ServiceNow ITSM or CSM or similar product.
  • Dynamics CRM

• Produce report sets to meet business and customer needs as appropriate.

• Ability to convey ideas & work in an agile way.

• Able to guide the team where needed, and provide experience & resolutions.

• Keep up to date with the latest software releases & best practices.
