Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumbing Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and/or commercial settings. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and appliances
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Inspect plumbing systems to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
- Troubleshoot and repair issues such as leaks, clogs, and faulty equipment
- Cut, assemble, and install pipes using appropriate tools and materials
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper functionality
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and customers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship or relevant certification preferred
- Proven experience as a plumber or plumbing installer
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety practices
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Skills
- Experience with residential and/or commercial plumbing systems
- Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations
- Welding or pipefitting experience (a plus)
- Strong customer service skills
- willing to work as a team
Work Environment
- Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- May require working in confined spaces or at heights
- Schedule may include evenings, weekends, or on-call hours
