The Central Analog Field Applications Engineer (CFAE) is responsible for partnering with Sales and providing Analog related technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. The CFAE proactively identifies current products and/or creative solutions to solve existing customer projects and create new functionality/opportunities. In this role, the CFAE uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to gain credibility and develop relationships with customers.
In this role, you will engage directly with leading customers to debug, design, and optimize Vcore power systems across Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA platforms, enabling next-generation AI servers and high-performance computing systems.
You will work closely with Sales, Design, and Product teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and innovative analog power solutions.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Support and debug Vcore power delivery systems for:
- →Intel platforms (VR13, VR14 EGS/BHS)
- →AMD platforms (SP5, SP6, SP7)
- →NVIDIA GPU and AI accelerator platforms
- →Perform Vcore fine-tuning on:
- →Intel VRTS (Voltage Regulator Test Suite)
- →AMD SDLE (Server Design Loadline Evaluation)
- →Conduct system-level simulation modeling, loop stability analysis, transient response tuning, and schematic/layout reviews.
- →Create detailed Issue Analysis Reports, capturing problem definition, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- →Collaborate with customer RD and validation teams to ensure designs meet all performance, thermal, and reliability specifications.
- →Partner with Sales and Product Line teams to grow TI’s analog and power business in Server, AI, and Datacenter segments.
- →Provide feedback to internal design and product teams for continuous improvement and next-generation platform support.

Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in power system design, validation, and debug, preferably in Server or GPU power applications.
- Strong understanding of Intel VR13/VR14 (EGS/BHS), AMD SP5/SP6/SP7, and NVIDIA GPU power architectures.
- Practical experience in DCDC converter design, loop compensation, and hardware-level debugging.
- Proficient in simulation modeling tools (e.g., SIMPLIS, PSpice, TINA-TI, or equivalent).
- Skilled in using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power analyzers for system validation.
- Proficient in Vcore transient response tuning, telemetry (SVID/PMBus), and sequencing control.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise technical reports summarizing findings and solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product Line, RD, Validation).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Proven track record of driving debug closure under tight development schedules.
