Logistics Specialist

The ICT / Office Management team keeps 1GLOBAL running day to day, from the technology and equipment our people rely on to the physical movement of goods that supports our global operations. Based in our Lisbon office, the team plays a central role in ensuring that internal IT assets and customer shipments reach the right place, on time, and in full.We are looking for a proactive Logistics Specialist to manage and support daily logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and accurate coordination across the supply chain. This role suits someone with foundational logistics experience who is ready to take on accountability for the stock and shipping of both our internal IT assets but most importantly our customer shipments.

About the Role

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and monitor delivery performance.
• Receive, unbox, and sort incoming cargo shipments.
• Track shipments end to end, maintain accurate shipping documentation, and keep the logistics system up to date.
• Maintain stock accuracy and run regular inventory audits.
• Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
• Understand and adhere to shipping and customs requirements, keeping current with relevant regulations.
• Support customs clearance by contacting the relevant authorities and unblocking held or delayed shipments.
• Analyse logistics data and support cost and efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Manage and prioritise incoming requests through the Jira ticketing system.
• Provide support to the Client Management teams regarding Shipment status.
• Create proper information on the activities to facilitate client engagement.

• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, managing incoming and outgoing inventory, and working with ticketing systems.
• Hands-on experience dealing with FedEx, DHL, and other key carriers.
• Experience navigating customs requirements for shipments outside of Europe (primarily the US, Middle East, and East Asia).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics / ERP systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create and improve procedures that are efficient and measurable.
• English fluency is mandatory.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to perform manual tasks as part of the role, including preparing and cutting SIM sleeves and carrying boxes and cargo packages to delivery points.
