- Source fabrics, furniture, finishes, textiles, and accessories for residential interior projects
- Create mood boards and visual presentations for design concepts
- Research trends, materials, and vendors
- Support conceptual development and design inspiration
- Maintain and organize materials library (samples, catalogs, finishes)
- Order and track samples and deliveries
- Coordinate with vendors for pricing, availability, and lead times
- Follow up on orders and procurement status
- Track sourcing items and project materials
- Assist in design documentation and presentations
- Support custom millwork concept development (as directed)
- Manage vendor communication, emails, and follow-ups
- Maintain organized project records
- Support daily design team operations
- Help ensure project timelines are met
- Assist in maintaining efficiency across active projects
Requirements
~1 min read- 2+ years experience in interior design or design support preferred
- Strong visual and spatial awareness with refined design sensibility
- Experience in sourcing furniture, materials, or decor highly preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva (or similar) is a plus
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable coordinating with vendors and managing follow-ups
- Self-motivated and proactive
Design Tools (Preferred):
AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva
Project & Organization Tools:
Google Workspace, ClickUp, Trello (or similar)
Communication Tools:
Gmail, Slack, Zoom
- Contracted Hours per Week: 20 - 40Hours
- Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday (unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing)
- Daily Working Time: Flexible (overlap with client working hours preferred) EST
Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.
- Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
- This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
- All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
