We're looking for a Home Health Administrator who genuinely cares about doing things right: keeping our agency compliant, our patients safe, and our team supported. If you're someone who finds satisfaction in knowing the regulations cold, translating them into real-world practice, and building a culture of accountability, we'd love to meet you.

This position is on site at our Burlingame office Monday- Friday.

As Administrator, you're the person who makes sure everything runs the way it should — not just operationally, but ethically and legally. You'll be the agency's go-to for regulatory compliance, working closely with our founders and leadership team to keep policies current, staff informed, and our licensure in good standing. It's a role that requires equal parts expertise and people skills.

This is where you'll spend a big part of your energy — and where your expertise will really shine:

  • Stay on top of federal, state, and local home health regulations and make sure we're always ahead of the curve
  • Turn regulatory updates into practical policies and procedures the team can actually use
  • Review agency manuals annually to keep them accurate, complete, and current
  • Hold the line on ethical business and patient care practices
  • Keep public-facing materials accurate and up to date
  • Watch for regulatory changes and proactively brief staff and leadership on what they mean for us
  • Lead survey readiness efforts and maintain compliance with accrediting body standards
  • Ensure a qualified clinical manager is available during all operating hours — it's a regulatory requirement and a patient safety priority
  • Keep a qualified backup administrator available whenever you're not on-site
  • Make sure staff qualifications, supervision, and training requirements stay compliant across the board
  • Stay plugged into local and national home health trends so we're never caught off guard
  • Translate Governing Body directives into well-designed service policies

Beyond compliance, you'll have oversight of the following day to day operational needs:

  • Make sure care delivery stays aligned with our philosophy and standards
  • Drive performance improvement by tracking outcomes and acting on what you find
  • Keep clinical staff current on best practices and new information
  • Communicate openly with staff and apply policies consistently — people notice fairness
  • Use data to understand what's working and where we can do better
  • Registered Nurse, OR a BA/BS in relevant field. Master's degree in health care administration or a related field is a plus.
  • 5+ years' relevant experience; At least 1 year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health or a related health care setting
  • Solid working knowledge of California and federal home health regulations
  • Experience managing or mentoring both clinical and administrative staff
  • Clear, confident communication skills — written and verbal
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Willingness to work onsite in our Burlingame office
  • Experience leading regulatory surveys or accreditation reviews
  • A track record of building or overhauling compliance programs in home health or post-acute care
