As a Production Operator at 3M Bangor, Northern Ireland, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you’ll make an impact by:

  • being responsible for operating production equipment and machinery within the Bangor plant

  • Operating production machinery in line with schedule requirement

  • Ensuring full compliance with all company safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards

  • Ensuring production efficiency, reduce downtime and maintain product quality.

  • Reporting required data on key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Working as part of a rotational shift crew to achieve production goals

  • Maintaining defined housekeeping standards for work area

  • Reporting machine running issues and breakdowns to minimize downtime

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing/production operations

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology

  • Knowledge of EH&S (Environment, Health & Safety)

  • Problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience with ERP Process (preferably SAP) within a manufacturing environment

  • FLT (Counterbalance/Reach) Licence

  • Full time role

  • Shift working Monday to Friday

  • The role will be 100% on site at the 3M Bangor Plant in Northern Ireland
