Junior Cook / Kochen (All Genders)

The junior cook in the studio production is responsible for the culinary execution of brand visuals in close collaboration with styling and photography teams on set. They prepare food for photo and video shoots across the HelloFresh Group portfolio, ensuring every dish and product meets strict brand guidelines and aesthetic standards for marketing campaigns and digital menus in online platforms.

• →Collaboration: Collaborate with teams on recipe production ( culinary, stylists and photographers …) to create appealing food photography and video assets for online menu ,  recipe cards, marketing campaign shoots
• →Cooking skills : Prepare food for image production across multiple brands of the HelloFresh Group in various markets in line with existing brand guidelines. This includes adjusting cooking techniques to match specs of our RTH brands (YouFoodz, Factor …)
• →Mise en place: ensure readiness of ingredients for daily shooting schedules (making sure ingredients are in good order and available in the correct production units of the day of shooting)
• →Quality assurance: flagging errors in briefs to higher level colleagues within the culinary team and ensuring compliance with SKU specifications such as market specific ingredients and products.
• →Kitchen Maintenance : Ensure tools and equipment of the culinary team are clean throughout the production day and ready to use for the following day.

• 1-3 years experience cooking in a professional kitchen or photography environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation and plating
• Experienced in working collaboratively within a team 
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in a high-paced environment
• Enthusiastic team player, understanding the interdependencies of different teams
• An understanding and appreciation for food and fresh ingredients
• Ability to adjust to feedback and add value where necessary
• Impeccably organized, excellent time manager, with careful attention to detail
• Willingness to keep the workspace clean and maintain utensils and appliances
• Professional proficiency in English required; German proficiency is a plus.
