About the Role
~1 min readWe're looking for a Chief of Staff, Go-To-Market Transformation to help us scale the next generation of our commercial organization. This is a highly strategic role focused on driving commercial excellence, accelerating AI adoption, improving organizational readiness, and ensuring we can continue to grow with speed and discipline as we expand globally.
You'll lead some of the company's most important cross-functional initiatives, working across Sales, Revenue Operations, Account Management, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product to solve complex challenges, improve execution, and help build the operating system that powers our growth. From embedding AI into how commercial teams work to supporting new products, market expansion, and organizational change, you'll play a critical role in helping 9fin realize its ambition of becoming the global leader in debt market intelligence.
Every day is different, but here’s an example of the kind of things you’ll work on:
Lead strategic transformation initiatives that improve the effectiveness, scalability, and performance of our go-to-market organization.
Identify, prioritize, and implement AI-driven opportunities that increase productivity, improve decision-making, and create competitive advantage across commercial teams.
Drive commercial excellence programs focused on forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, performance management, operating cadence, and execution discipline.
Ensure organizational readiness for new product launches, market expansion, pricing changes, acquisitions, and other strategic growth initiatives.
Build the frameworks, reporting, and governance needed to help leaders make better decisions, faster.
Partner across Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Product to solve complex business challenges and remove barriers to growth.
Translate company strategy into executable plans, ensuring priorities remain aligned and progress is measured against clear outcomes.
Lead special projects and critical initiatives that don't neatly fit within a single function but are essential to scaling the business.
This role will be a great fit if you:
Have experience in sales, strategy, business operations, revenue operations, consulting, or a similar role within a high-growth B2B SaaS, fintech, data, or information services company.
Have spent time helping a company scale through significant growth, ideally in an environment that has expanded internationally, launched new products, and built increasingly sophisticated go-to-market capabilities.
Have a strong understanding of capital markets, financial services, or the debt markets ecosystem.
Have experience in a customer-facing, quota-carrying commercial role (Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, or similar) and understand firsthand what drives success in high-performing go-to-market teams.
Bring credibility with commercial leaders because you've experienced the realities of pipeline generation, deal execution, forecasting, customer retention, and revenue growth yourself.
Have a track record of leading large-scale transformation programs and driving measurable business impact across commercial organizations.
Combine strong strategic thinking with a bias for execution and enjoy turning complex problems into practical solutions.
Are excited by the opportunity to apply AI and automation to solve real business problems and improve how teams work.
Are highly analytical, structured, and comfortable using data to influence decisions and measure success.
Build credibility quickly with senior stakeholders and can drive alignment across multiple teams without relying on formal authority.
Thrive in ambitious, fast-moving environments where expectations are high, opportunities are abundant, and no two days look the same.
