The Benefits Partner supports the strategy, administration, and day-to-day delivery of associate benefit programs, including health and welfare plans. This role serves as an important connection point between associates, internal teams, vendors, and consultants to help ensure benefit programs are accurate, compliant, clearly communicated, and aligned with organizational goals. In addition to supporting daily benefit operations, this position assists with program analysis, benchmarking, compliance, employee communications, issue resolution, and annual processes such as open enrollment. The Benefits Partner helps create a positive associate experience by ensuring benefits are delivered with accuracy, consistency, and care.
Responsibilities

- →Serves as a benefits resource for associates and leaders by providing guidance on eligibility, coverage, plan provisions, processes, and issue resolution.
- →Interprets and applies benefit plan documents, policies, procedures, and related program requirements.
- →Supports the associate benefits experience from initial inquiry through resolution by providing timely, clear, respectful, and well-coordinated service.
- →Tracks benefit-related questions, issues, and escalations, and follows up with carriers, vendors, or internal partners to support timely resolution.
- →Administers leave-related programs, including Family and Medical Leave Act provisions, personal leaves of absence, and Workers’ Compensation requirements.
- →Supports compliance with applicable federal and state regulations impacting benefit plans, leave administration, and Workers’ Compensation.
- →Maintains accurate benefits records, documentation, files, reports, and related plan materials.
- →Processes, reviews, and verifies benefit claims, billing, invoices, and payments to support accurate administration and timely issue resolution.
- →Leads and supports associate benefits education, including open enrollment meetings, lunch and learns, wellness events, business line meetings, and other benefit-related presentations.
- →Develops benefit presentations, associate communications, and education materials with an emphasis on clarity, accuracy, empathy, and usability.
- →Supports open enrollment planning and execution, including communications, employee support, vendor coordination, issue tracking, and follow-up.
- →Assists with benefits program analysis, market benchmarking, surveys, costing, and evaluation of current plan effectiveness.
- →Collaborates with management, vendors, consultants, and internal partners to support the development, implementation, and improvement of benefit programs.
- →Maintains awareness of benefit trends, best practices, and legislative changes that may affect benefit programs, plan administration, or compliance requirements.
- Employee benefits administration, including health and welfare plans, leave of absence programs, Workers’ Compensation, and benefits compliance requirements.
- Analyzes benefits data, invoices, utilization trends, market surveys, and benchmarking information to support recommendations and decision-making.
- Explains complex benefits information clearly to associates, leaders, vendors, and internal partners.
- Manages multiple priorities, deadlines, issues, and follow-up items with strong organization and attention to detail.
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment when handling sensitive associate information.
- Delivers high-quality customer service with accuracy, professionalism, and care.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in benefits administration, human resources, or a closely related area required.
- Relevant professional certification, such as Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), preferred.
