Responsibilities
~1 min read40% Financial reporting: Creates and updates daily, weekly and monthly reports using advanced Excel functions, Cognos, AXIS, and Vena reporting tools for management. Develops reports and performs analysis needed to support various business lines. Performs special projects and ad hoc requests as needed for management.
25% Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with the monthly forecast and annual budget process. Perform variance analysis to ensure budget and forecast accuracy and report any discrepancies to department managers and accounting management.
25% Calculate incentives: Works with travel management to create models for incentive calculation analysis; calculate monthly travel agent incentives accruals and payouts.
10% Business Intelligence: Assists with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting by acting as a liaison between Finance and various business lines to gather financial data needed.
Requirements
~1 min read- Strong experience with MS Office including advanced Excel skills.
- Sound judgment on the results having an impact on people and costs within the area being analyzed.
- Requires excellent business accounting skills.
- Excellent speaking skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization
- Able to effectively communicate in a hybrid work environment (minimum of 2 work days in the office with remaining days at home)
- Ability to perform routine office tasks that includes operating a computer for long periods of time, sitting, filing and communicating on the phone
- Ability to perform all physical functions consistent with travel including sitting in airplanes and driving for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull a maximum of 30 lbs
Starting pay range: $68,910 - $81,071
