Job Title: Irrigation Technician
Compensation: $28 - $33

Position Overview

We are seeking a technically skilled Commercial Irrigation Technician  to diagnose, repair, program, and optimize commercial irrigation systems. This position focuses on advanced troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, and water efficiency — not just basic installation and maintenance labor. The technician will primarily service large HOAs & retail centers.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience as commercial Irrigation Technician
• Effective wire tracing & ground fault locating
• Proficient in troubleshooting using multimeter (voltage, ohms, mA)
• Conventional and 2-wire electrical troubleshooting
• Repair & replace valves, laterals & mainlines up to 4 inches
• Smart and ET-based controller programming
• System adjustments based on the concept of matched precipitation rate
• Perform irrigation system inspections and provide a detailed list of repairs needed
• Identify system upgrade opportunities
• Remove and replace controllers
• Soldering copper pipe & fittings
• Tablet and smart phone use for email, work orders, sending pictures etc.
• Interpret and work from provided plans and maps
• English language proficiency: fluent (verbal and written comprehension)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT)
