Job Description

A generous 401K program where the company matches employee contribution up to 5% of annual pay.  Eligibility begins after completing one year of employment.  Enrollment in January and June annually.   


9 Federal holidays, 1 Floating Federal/Religious holiday and 1 personal holiday. 


A robust Paid Time Off program that accrues with each pay period.  16 days annually years 1 – 4 (5 days available after initial 90 days of employment), 21 days annually years 5 – 9 and 26 days annually after reaching 10th year anniversary.


Volunteer Paid Time Off


AAMCI is looking for a bright, energetic individual who is qualified and experienced with section 8 and Tax credit programs to add to our team as a Recertification Specialist at a 500-unit Section 8 and Tax Credit property located in Dayton, OH.


Full-Time - $17-$18.50 per hour, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm


The community is an affordable housing community with Section 8 rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents. In this position, AAMCI expects strong customer service, safety management, skill set development and time management with the goal to create a home and strong communities for each of our residents to thrive.


As we value our team members, AAMCI provided a Monday to Friday work week. Work hours are 8 am to 5 pm.

AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates.


Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare initial, annual, and interim recertifications for all residents
  • Maintain full compliance with HUD and LIHTC regulations
  • Verify income, assets, household composition and allowable expenses
  • EIV record keeping and follow-up
  • Maintain resident files in accordance with AAMCI policy and procedures
  • Data entry and correspondence

  • High level of organizational skills
  • Ability to calmly handle difficult situations
  • Work and interact effectively with others
  • Yardi Voyager experience (preferred)
