As a Field Service Engineer in Abbott’s Vascular Division, you will ensure the performance and reliability of advanced systems like Coroflow and OPTIS by installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment that supports patient care.
You’ll serve as a key technical expert, providing high-quality service and training to healthcare professionals while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver passionate about medical technology and service excellence.
This opportunity is a full-time, permanent position open to candidates based anywhere in the Greater Toronto Region, Ontario, working remotely.
Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Biology or Chemistry) is required.

1 to 3 years of experience in an electrophysiology or cardiology lab.

Demonstrated familiarity with cardiac catheterization lab procedures and protocols.
- →
Ability to understand and comply with company policies and applicable industry laws and regulations - Personal computing skills with ability to perform word processing/spreadsheet tasks to perform documentation, presentation, and analysis activities.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a diverse cross-functional team environment.
- →
Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in a preceptor role.

Travel up to 75%.
Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
Demonstrated familiarity with electrophysiology or cardiac catheterization lab procedures and protocols.
Experience with integration and networking a plus.
