Responsibilities

1. Responsible for Medical Marketing of all products supplied by CRDx to the Vietnam and Cambodia markets.

2. Work closely with the Commercial team, ensure appropriate assay implementation, scientific positioning, and performance accuracy to achieve Value Expansion and New Account Acquisition.

3. Collaborate closely with Application Specialists to:

  • Drive effective assay implementation and optimization at customer sites
  • Support scientific interpretation and resolution of assay discrepancies
  • Strengthen customer confidence and enable assay share capture and menu expansion

4. Act as the medical authority and strategic partner, ensuring compliant, on‑label use of assays while enabling sustainable business growth and customer confidence.

5. Drive Strategic Marketing and Product Lifecycle Management, including:

  • Go‑to‑Market strategy
  • Product portfolio management
  • Competitive intelligence and differentiation

6. Work closely with Area and Global Marketing and Medical teams to adapt and deploy global strategies, medical direction, and initiatives to the local market, ensuring effective execution and achievement of local commercial objectives.

Medical & Scientific Leadership:

  • Drive the medical and scientific aspects of assigned assays strictly within approved market indications (on‑label use), ensuring compliance with regulatory, ethical, and company standards.
  • Serve as the scientific and medical authority for assigned products, disease areas, and clinical applications.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of disease areas, diagnostic algorithms, and clinical pathways, translating these into clear medical and scientific propositions.
  • Monitor and interpret clinical guidelines, scientific literature, real‑world evidence, and competitive medical data to provide actionable strategic insights.

Medical Marketing & Assay Differentiation:

  • Develop and execute medical marketing strategies that enable assay differentiation, evidence‑based positioning, and lifecycle optimization.
  • Translate complex clinical and scientific data into clear, compliant, and impactful medical messages to support marketing and sales effectiveness.
  • Support assay positioning in result discrepancy cases and complex clinical scenarios through sound scientific interpretation and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor new products launching, promotional items and products transition or   discontinuation plans (phase-in/phase-out)

Product Marketing Leadership (Chemistry & Immunoassay)

  • Lead and develop a team of marketing responsible for product marketing and lifecycle management of Clinical Chemistry and Immunoassay portfolios.
  • Provide strategic direction, coaching, and performance management to ensure strong product positioning, effective launches, and continuous portfolio growth.
  • Guide Product Managers in developing medical‑driven marketing strategies, including segmentation, targeting, scientific messaging, and differentiation.
  • Oversee product planning activities, including portfolio prioritization, launch readiness, lifecycle optimization, and phase‑out management.

KOL & Medical Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinicians, laboratory directors, and professional societies.
  • Lead and support medical education activities, including scientific meetings, advisory boards, workshops, congresses, and internal training programs.

Commercial & Tender Support

  • Support commercial and tender activities by responding to medical and scientific inquiries, providing clinical evaluations, and addressing scientific objections within approved indications.
  • Enable effective commercial execution by aligning scientific value, clinical relevance, and customer needs.

Medical Governance & Risk Management

  • Act as the medical lead in managing product‑related medical inquiries, complaints, laboratory result discrepancies, and clinical concerns, ensuring patient safety and appropriate risk management.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Service, Application, QA, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to support medical investigations, complaint handling, and corrective actions.

CrossFunctional Leadership & Capability Building

  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Market Access teams to ensure consistent, compliant scientific messaging.
  • Contribute to capability building by coaching and guiding teams on medical excellence, scientific communication, and ethical promotion.

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor (MD/MBBS) or PhD in Laboratory Medicine / Clinical Pathology / Diagnostics or related laboratory disciplines, with a strong background in medical diagnostics (mandatory).
  • 8–12+ years of experience in Medical Marketing, Medical Affairs, Diagnostics, MedTech
  • Strong experience in:
    • Diagnostics assays (preferably Chemistry & Immunoassay)
    • Clinical interpretation and discrepancy management
    • Strategic marketing and product lifecycle management
    • Cross‑functional and people leadership
  • Solid understanding of diseases area, immunoassay, testing algorithm
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Deep knowledge of Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Pathology, and Diagnostic Assays, particularly in Clinical Chemistry and Immunoassay.
  • Strong understanding of disease areas, diagnostic algorithms, and clinical pathways relevant to core diagnostics.
  • Solid knowledge of clinical guidelines, scientific literature, and real‑world evidence, with the ability to translate data into medical and commercial insights.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory, compliance, and ethical requirements, including on‑label promotion and medical governance in diagnostics.
  • Strong awareness of competitive landscape, assay technologies, and market trends in Vietnam and Cambodia.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific and clinical data into clear, compliant, and impactful medical marketing messages.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to drive assay differentiation, portfolio optimization, and lifecycle management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, particularly with KOLs, clinicians, laboratory directors, and internal functions.
  • High standards of scientific integrity, ethics, and accountability.
