Operational Technologies Internship - ANSC (Granada)

What you can expect to learn in this internship:

• Support and maintain Manufacturing OT systems (hardware/software) under Sr. OT Engineer guidance, ensuring reliability and compliance.

• Manage PLC, SCADA, and integration layers (Siemens, Ignition, OPC UA).

• Contribute to the manufacturing data ecosystem, including OSI PI and SEEQ:

  • PI AF modelling, asset structures, and data contextualization

  • Data mapping from source systems into standardized models

• Support the data egress layer, enabling secure, reliable data flow to enterprise platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Asset Intellect).

• Develop and maintain data visualization and reporting (PI Vision, SEEQ, Asset Intellect) aligned with operational KPIs.

• Participate in OT system implementations and upgrades across sites and projects.

• Collaborate with key users (Process Engineering, FLL, OPEX, Validation) to gather requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

• Formalize application handover, including documentation, training, and support model definition.

• Ensure OT systems align with IT cybersecurity and infrastructure standards to support continuous manufacturing.

• Learn about standards and best practices, replicate Globally.

• Focus on the EU Plants.

• A Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Telematics

• English: B2-C1

• Eligibility to sign an internship agreement with a university or academic institution is essential 

• Full-time availability

• Interacts well with diverse groups within Engineering / IT and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators.

• Possesses interpersonal skills to negotiate and reconcile differences.

• To be capable to do a training and support implementation process in the shopfloor.
