At Sibanye-Stillwater, every role supports our mission to operate safely, responsibly, and sustainably. We are seeking a QEHS Systems and Compliance Specialist to support the QEHS program at our North Carolina facility through management system coordination, document control, audit support, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role focuses on supporting integrated QEHS systems, maintaining certifications, improving document and change management processes, and partnering with site leadership to strengthen safety, sustainability, accountability, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support the global quality strategy of the Sibanye-Stillwater Recycling segment and the quality program for the North Carolina location
• Help maintain an integrated management system that supports ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 certifications
• Support future expansion of management systems related to R2, RIOS, LEED, and e-Stewards standards
• Ensure SOPs and work instructions are accessible, current, and easy to understand
• Support document control systems including document housing, updates, and version control
• Support Management of Change processes for both document and physical changes
• Partner with site operations leaders to align QEHS systems with operational needs and frontline realities
• Support quality metrics and reporting to drive data informed decisions and continuous improvement
• Assist the site QEHS Lead during internal and external audits
• Support evaluation of compliance risks and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• Help strengthen employee engagement, accountability, and empowerment across the site
• Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, safety, sustainability, and technical support teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, Quality, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience supporting QEHS management systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 standards
• Experience with document control and Management of Change processes
• Familiarity with SharePoint, EHSInsight, or similar digital systems for document and change management
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence across teams without direct authority
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a heavy industrial environment

• Must meet ITAR and NAID requirements
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and medical clearance
• Ability to work onsite and support plant operations as needed
• Ability to work in an industrial environment with required PPE
