What We Offer

~2 min read

Building from its core expertise of administering residential energy efficiency programs, Abode implements many utility and government-sponsored programs helping homeowners and small businesses develop and implement plans to electrify and decarbonize their buildings, while supporting contractors to provide quality decarbonization services. The Massachusetts (MA) Decarbonization Advisor (Advisor) will provide a variety of support services virtually and in-person, including decarbonization consultations, presentations, and trainings. This is a terrific opportunity for someone with a strong background in building science and energy efficiency, as well as the ability to translate technical jargon into actionable, practical guidance that helps realize the climate benefits of electrification. This position will join the MA Heating and Cooling team, which currently supports a Heat Pump Installer Network of 1,800 contractors and provides Decarbonization Consultations to thousands of homeowners each year.

This is a full-time, exempt position with a starting salary plus bonus targeted between $70K and $80K, depending on relevant skills and experience. The Advisor will work primarily out of the employee’s home office along with attendance at in-person events and meetings as needed both across Massachusetts and in Abode’s Concord MA office.  Abode offers its employees a competitive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance, a matching 401k, and fully paid Parental Leave.  Employees have a flexible working schedule and generous paid time off (~37 paid days off, or ~15% of all weekdays).
