$1000 Sign-On Bonus Full-Time DSP/Caregiver Position - Easton, PA Area

Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver – Easton & Forks Township, PA
In Home & Community Support Services – $17–$23/hr

Abound Health is hiring two Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support a young individual living with Autism in the Easton/Forks Township area. He has been home for the past two years and is ready to begin building comfort and confidence with community participation. He currently prefers staying home, so caregivers will begin with in-home support and gradually introduce community outings as trust and comfort grow.

He has experienced loss and needs someone kind, empathetic, patient, and interactive. He enjoys gaming, computers, and organizing — he has many strengths we are hoping to help unlock with the right support. There are three small dogs in the home, so caregivers must be comfortable with pets.

What You’ll Do
As a DSP, you will support him in building independence, engaging in preferred activities, and gradually accessing the community. Responsibilities include:
• Providing in-home support and building rapport
• Engaging him in preferred activities (gaming, organizing, computer tasks)
• Introducing community outings gradually as comfort increases
• Encouraging social engagement and participation in meaningful activities
• Promoting independence and confidence
• Communicating with Abound team members and family
• Completing documentation and participating in ongoing training

Schedule Details
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Requirements
• Must be 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
• Comfortable with dogs in the home
• Patient, empathetic, and able to build rapport
• Ability to support both in-home and community-based services
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required — we provide paid training and support.

Pay
Starting Pay: $17–$23 per hour
Compensation varies based on experience and service type.
