Abound Health is seeking compassionate, dependable Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one support to an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in her home in West Middlesex, PA. About the Role
~1 min readAs a DSP, you will provide individualized support that helps the client live safely, independently, and with dignity. This position is ideal for someone patient, reliable, and passionate about helping others thrive.
Responsibilities
~1 min read• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development
• Assist with recreational and community activities
• Follow treatment plans and document progress
• Provide companionship and respite care
• Submit documentation and payroll on time
• Participate in ongoing training
• Assist with personal care needs as required
• Work independently in a home setting
• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying personal-care and behavioral-support needs
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background checks
• Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers if needed

Shifts Available:
- Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Shifts Available:
- Saturday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• One year of caregiving experience preferred (not required—training provided)
Nice to Have
~1 min read• $333 after 90 days (minimum 20 hours/week)
• $333 after 6 months (minimum 20 hours/week)
• $334 after 1 year (minimum 20 hours/week)
Bonus not available for Residential Services or Relative as Provider (RAP) hires. Applicants must not have worked for Abound Health or its affiliates within the past 18 months.
