Abound Health is seeking compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one support to a young woman with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in her home in West Middlesex, PA. She requires 24/7 care, and we currently have multiple part-time openings across morning, afternoon, and overnight hours.
This is a meaningful opportunity to support a single client in a consistent, comfortable home environment.
Shifts Available:
• Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 11pm - 7AM
Shifts Available:
• Saturday: 7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm
• Sunday: 7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm
Shifts Available:
• Tuesday: 7am–3pm
• Wednesday: 7am–3pm
About the Role
~1 min readAs a DSP, you will provide individualized support that helps the client live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. This includes personal care, mobility assistance, supervision, and engagement in daily routines.
Responsibilities
~1 min read• Support behavioral, social, and daily living skill development
• Assist with recreational and community activities
• Follow treatment plans and document progress
• Provide companionship and respite care
• Submit documentation and payroll on time
• Participate in ongoing training
• Assist with personal care and mobility needs
• Work independently in a home setting
• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance
• Comfortable with personal care and behavioral support
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background checks
• Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers
What We Offer

• $1,000 signing bonus for qualified candidates

Nice to Have
~1 min read• $333 after 90 days (minimum 20 hours/week)
• $333 after 6 months (minimum 20 hours/week)

Bonus not available for Residential Services or Relative as Provider (RAP) hires. Applicants must not have worked for Abound Health or its affiliates within the past 18 months.
