Our Asia Pacific Investments business has a large, dedicated and highly experienced investment team which has been investing across the region since 1985, and manages all our Asian products, including regional, country, smaller companies, and sustainable investing propositions.
The team has a strong regional footprint with offices in Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul, and Sydney. This breadth gives us close proximity to the companies we own and the markets we invest in. Our APAC operations have been based in Singapore since 1992. We invest in Asian companies to grow with them and to help them to become better investors
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific, the Senior Marketing Manager, Thailand assists with the development and execution of the regional Marketing strategy, coordinates key Marketing-related activities and deliverables in Thailand, and provides invaluable day-to-day planning and connectivity back into the global head office.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Work closely with the Head of Marketing for Asia Pacific, local Marketing executive, Distribution partners and specialised areas (Content, Digital, etc.) to execute local Marketing plans.
- →Coordinate and implement key Marketing initiatives focused on building awareness of Aberdeen's investment capabilities and solutions, and help drive sales of key strategies.
- →Help manage the local promotional budget, local market initiatives, events, PR and strategic priorities, and the development of Marketing/Distribution resources.
- →Enable the Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific to focus on high-level planning and strategy in conjunction with the Asia Pacific business heads and Global Marketing heads.
- →Play point on monthly Marketing activity reporting to fulfil regional and global requirements
- →Actively participate as a member of the Asia Pacific Marketing Leadership team.
- →Manage local agencies, as necessary, for design and production, advertising and media planning/buying.
Requirements
~1 min read- Experience (10+ years), preferably in asset management and financial services; work experience in a regional role an advantage.
- A broad understanding of Marketing disciplines ranging from advertising, digital, events management, PR, content marketing and Marketing Automation to research and data analytics.
- A commercial mindset with an understanding of investor/client needs across various business channels (Notably institutional and wholesale)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to lead, collaborate, drive results and operate effectively in a multi-cultural, multi-channel global organization.
- Proven track record of delivering well-coordinated, integrated Marketing activity that delivers results.
- Ability to interact, influence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation and across business lines; respect for diversity of opinions and styles.
- Proficiency working in a demanding, fast-paced environment, and handling multiple competing priorities and projects with high-quality output.
