Commercial Claims Consultant Short Term Insurance

Job Summary

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in commercial claims. Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products (property, liability, motor fleet, etc.). Proven experience working with brokers and/or corporate clients.To plan, manage and monitor the implementation of claims management activities and processes in order to deliver on approved operational plans in an effective and efficient manner.

• Manage the full claims lifecycle for commercial lines (from notification to settlement)
• Assess claims in line with policy wording, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with clients, brokers, assessors, loss adjusters, and service providers
• Investigate and evaluate claims, ensuring accurate and fair outcomes
• Proactively drive claims resolution and manage turnaround times
• Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate where necessary
• Deliver excellent client service and maintain strong broker relationships
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
• Provide insights and feedback to improve claims processes and client experienceClaims assessment: Assess and/or process claims following standard operating procedures | Customer Experience: Handle all customer interactions professionally and efficiently | Ad Hoc duties: Provide support to customers and team as required to ensure team performance on an ongoing basis | Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all team activities are in adherence to relevant control and compliance requirements, and quality standards

Education

Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
