Job Summary
As a Credit Innovation Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the design, enhancement, and implementation of innovative credit solutions within the Credit Innovation team. You will leverage data-driven insights, process analysis, and customer journey understanding to contribute towards scalable, customer-centric credit capabilities across the retail lending value chain.The role involves close collaboration with Risk, Technology, Operations, Analytics, and Business teams to support the delivery of solutions that are operationally efficient, commercially viable, compliant, and aligned to strategic business objective
- Support the development and execution of credit innovation initiatives aligned to business and customer strategy.
- Analyse customer, operational, and credit performance data to identify improvement and innovation opportunities
- Monitor product and process performance to identify optimisation opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform advanced data analysis on customer behavior, product performance, and credit risk metrics.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support product development and strategic decision-making.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in credit data to inform product enhancements and innovation opportunities.
- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and customer analysis
- Identify opportunities to enhance credit products and customer journeys
- Monitor industry trends across credit, fintech, and digital innovation
- Track and report on key product KPIs including uptake, usage, delinquency, and profitability.
- Conduct post-launch analysis to assess the impact of new features or changes.
- Support A/B testing and experimentation initiatives with robust data analysis.
- Assist in defining data requirements for new product features and enhancements.
- Work with technology and data engineering teams to ensure data availability and quality.
- Support Agile delivery processes by providing timely analytical input during sprints.
- Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.
- Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Product teams to ensure alignment on data-driven decisions.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field.
- 4 - 6 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within financial services or credit risk.
- Proficiency in data tools such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, and visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Exposure to Agile product development and innovation environments is a plus.
