As a Computer Scientist specializing in computational geometry, you’ll lead the pace of innovation across Abstract. Making a significant impact in the field not only requires thorough research and passion, but a high standard of excellence that continually maximizes development speed — you know this from experience. With a yearn to research and solve complex problems, you’ll directly influence how well we automate and shape the future of 3D content creation.
- Ability to write clean, well-structured C++ code with multi-threaded programming techniques
- Proficiency in 3D APIs such as OpenGL
- Understanding of parallel computing concepts and familiarity with GPU programming
- Prior development experience in LOD generation or mesh simplification
- Passion in integrating AI/ML techniques for enhancing geometric processing, such as text-to-mesh conversion, generative modeling, Gaussian splatting
- Hands-on experience leveraging deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and with CNNs
- Proven track record of research with publications in one or more of the following fields: computational geometry, computer graphics, AI/ML including generative AI
