Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily barge cleaning and repair operations for the assigned fleet location.

Lead and manage cleaning and repair teams, including oversight of outside contractors.
- →
Plan and schedule cleaning and repair activities to support operational needs.
- →
Create work orders and assign tasks to ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion.
- →
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality and safety standards.
- →
Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding barge availability and operational timelines.
- →
Plan and coordinate facility upgrades and repairs to maintain compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Support the facility budget and monitor expenses to ensure alignment with financial expectations.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support fleet operations.
Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.

5+ years of cleaning and repair experience in a shipyard or similar industrial environment preferred.

Strong leadership and team‑management skills.

Ability to plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance activities.

Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulatory requirements.

Must have for a TWIC.

Valid driver’s license required.

Ability to work in varying weather conditions and adapt to operational demands.
