Regional Ohio School Psychologist

Under limited supervision, facilitates learning, and promotes the cognitive, social, and personal development of all students. The Licensed School Psychologist conducts comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations; consults with school personnel and parents regarding planning, implementing and evaluating individual and group interventions; and functions as a member of the building-based Student Support Team in providing services to students. This is a virtual position, but in-office work will be required throughout the year.

• →Manage and assign yearly evaluations to ensure all compliance elements are met
• →Assists in the planning, development, and evaluation of programs to meet identified learning and adjustment needs
• →Delivers a planned and coordinated program of psychological services
• →Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations for students K through 12 according to federal, state, and school guidelines
• →Familiarity with evaluation tools
• →Complete Initial Evaluation and Re-evaluations
• →Complete Assessment Plans, RORs/REEDs, and FBAs
• →Provide virtual administration of cognitive and achievement assessments following best practice tele-assessment standards
• →Conduct other portions of the evaluation, including interviews and virtual observations, adaptive behavior, social/emotional behavior, and executive functioning assessments
• →Integrate assessment results into a comprehensive evaluation report and submit paperwork as needed
• →Present evaluation findings at ETR meetings and collaborate with school teams regarding eligibility determination
• →Excellent knowledge of principles and evidence-based practices
• →Participating in training and meetings as needed

• Master’s Degree or Ed.S degree
• Professional Ohio Psychologist License
• Proficiency with computers and online documentation skills
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and exhibit sound judgment while maintaining that confidentiality
• Demonstrates a reliable, dependable, and trustworthy work ethic
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional client situations
• Ability to make sound judgments after all available information has been gathered or communicated
• Demonstrates a mature attitude and insight into matters affecting department, self and / or company welfare
• Demonstrated leadership and management ability
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure, effectively prioritizing and executing tasks to meet deadlines consistently
• Ability to learn new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study, professional training, and from more senior team members
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
• Understanding and ability to manage confidential information
• Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks

The annual starting salary for this position is between $65,000 - $80,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
