Brand Manager - Non Liquor

We are looking for Brand Manager to represent the non-liquor wholesale portfolio of Cayman Distributors Ltd to serve accounts within the Cayman Islands market as assigned by the Sales & Marketing Manager. Primary responsibilities are sales, brand development and promotion, and customer support.
Responsibilities

- →Management of depletion reports
- →Create and manage yearly marketing campaigns for all non-liquor brands
- →Communicates directly with non-liquor vendors to create and manage advertising budget for brands
- →Develop effective professional relationships with primary contacts in all assigned accounts; with the aim of “building businesses together.” Including providing training on features and benefits of CDL Brands.
- →Coordinate with all primary account contacts to set and maintain effective inventory levels of CDL brands. i.e., minimise out of stock situations but ensure effective rotation.
- →Coordinate with vendors and the Sales & Marketing Manager to develop and implement effective marketing strategies for CDL brands within ALL assigned accounts.
- →Implement all sales and promotional activities to assigned accounts as dictated by the General Manager, Wholesale.
- →Ensure customer orders are submitted within the agreed timescales. Coordinate with the Operations Dept to ensure effective delivery schedules/inventory requirements for all customers.
- →Monitor competitive brand activity in the market and provide feedback to management. Offer suggestions to combat competitive brand activity.
- →Maintain a high level of product knowledge and understanding of market trends in the global beverage industry. This could range from reading of industry related literature to formal educational courses.
- →Act as the first point of contact for all Accounts Receivable (A/R) issues for each of your assigned accounts. This means coordinating with primary account contacts to ensure that outstanding debt levels are minimised in accordance with Finance dept policy and direction.
Requirements
~1 min read- A minimum of five (5) years’ proven sales experience, preferably in the hospitality sector in the Cayman Islands
- Creation and managing of on- premise beverage Programs experience required
- Must understand product marketing and ability to manage promotional events
- An excellent understanding of the Cayman Islands beverage market including current consumer trends, both locally and globally
- A confident, positive and outgoing person is needed for this position
- Excellent customer relations and communication skills
- Comfortable presenting tasting seminars and public speaking
- Strong working knowledge of all major MS Office programs
- The ability to work long and often unsociable hours without immediate supervision
- Must enjoy working in a fast paced, target orientated team
- A valid Cayman Islands driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Salary Rate: CI$50,000 - CI$60,000 per annum + Bonus, commensurate with experience
