JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Anesthesiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Lewisburg, PA Facility: Locums - WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital Health System: WellSpan Health Unit: Anesth Surg Svcs - Lewisburg, 1375-66064 Shift: Evenings Shift Schedule: 4 16 hour night shifts (M-Th) each week Start Date: Aug 03, 2026 End Date: Nov 02, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Open Positions: 1 Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Aug 03, 2026 – Nov 02, 2026 PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: All ages Case Mix: Vascular, OB/GYN, General, GI, Peds, Plastics, Ortho, Robotics, Urology FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds: 135 EMR System: Epic Medical Direction Model: 1:3 CRNA/room ratio PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Temporary Privileges Available: Available only for true urgent needs; must be approved at the beginning of the process; for non-complex / clean files only Credentialing Timeline: 90 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Regional block (nerve block) anesthesia OB anesthesia MAC Spinal US techniques JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC or BE Licenses: Active PA license or IMLC LOQ required Certifications: ACLS, PALS Experience: 2 years preferred SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS All required documentation must be submitted no later than 5 business days prior to start Provider questionnaire required at time of submission NPDB self-query required at time of presentation, within 6 months Full disclosure on all malpractice required Do not send open-ended presentations If the role includes specific coverage dates, your submission must clearly state exact dates the provider can work No follow-up required—if we have to ask for availability, the submission will be rejected Submissions without rates will be rejected immediately Required Submission Packet: CV, Coversheet, Questionnaire, NPDB (pulled within the last 6 months) Duties & Responsibilities Provide sporadic solo night coverage Perform regional block (nerve block) anesthesia for high volume of ortho patients Provide OB anesthesia coverage Deliver high quality, patient centered care across a broad range of surgical and procedural areas Cover a 1:3 CRNA/room ratio
