Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Cardiac Surgery-NP/PA • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Loveland, CO • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: Sep 1 - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical + call • Shift Schedule: (4) 10-hr shifts per week; FT • Call Schedule: 1 night per week & 1 weekend per month • Patient Volume: 7-8 • Surgery Expectation: 1-3 per day • Patient Demographics: Adults only • Duties: OR First Assist (cardiac surgery) • Required Procedures/Skills: - Proficient in all cardiac surgeries CABG with EVH and endoscopic radial harvesting, valve surgeries, structural heart and aortic - Must be able to insert/Remove arterial Lines - General CV/thoracic surgery: Open & Endoscopic, Coronary artery bypass surgery: on & off pump, Congenital defects (ASD, VSD, PFO, etc.) - Valvular repair, Valvular replacement - Aneurysm repair, Aneurysm repair- aorto-thoracic, Lung resection (including VATs) - Chest wall or pleural procedures - Esophagus and diaphragm surgeries - Left ventricular assist devices - Insertion of arterial line • Physicians in Practice: 5; include thoracic surgeons • Mid-levels: 3 ORFA, 6 ICU, 2 Floor, 1 Clinic • EMR: Epic • Trauma Level: I • Lab & X-ray Onsite: Yes • No. of Beds: 300; 12 CICU beds • Other Info: - Only Cardiac Surgery Coverage is needed (not vascular) - Central referral system through doc line this goes to the physician providers not the APPS. • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active CO License • BC • BLS • Minimum 6 months experience • Must be able to insert/remove arterial Lines • COVID vaccination • NPDB report
