Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery NP/PA • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Lexington, KY • Service Setting: Inpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: May 31, 2026 - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Call Only • Shifts needed to be filled: - May 31 - Jun 13 - Jun 6-8 - Jul 20 - 26 • Call Schedule: Fri-Mon; 7a-7a - 1-2 days/week - 1 weekend/month • Patient Volume: Low • No of Surgeries: 1-2 per day • Duties/Procedures: - Surgical CT, Vein harvest, Chest tube placement - First assist in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resection cases - OR, Tele, & ICU duties • EMR: Epic • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active KY License • BC • DEA • BLS, ACLS • NPDB report • Will accept NPs that can do surgery component and vein harvest
