JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Specialty: CRNA - General Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Hershey, PA Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP – Dec 31, 2026 Shift Schedule: (4) 10-hour shifts per week Mon, Tue, Wed Thu 7a – 5:30p Fri 6:30a – 5p Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults and pediatric (ages 5 and up) Case Mix: General, Orthopedics, Trauma, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Endoscopy, NORA, Robotic surgery, Gynecology, ENT No hearts, OB or blocks FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: Level I EMR System: Cerner REQUIRED PROCEDURES Neurosurgical cases Head Spine Thoracic cases (except open heart) Complex orthopedic cases Ventilation management Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues Central Line placement Arterial Line placement JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC Required Licenses: PA Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required Duties & Responsibilities Assess, prepare and manage patients for anesthesia care in the perioperative/procedural period Develop and implement an anesthetic plan Perform history and physical and obtain Informed Consent Perform a pre-anesthetic evaluation and post-operative assessment Perform invasive monitoring and placement (CVP/CVC, pulmonary artery catheterization, intra-arterial lines)
