JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Nurse Practitioner Specialty: Electrophysiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Chambersburg, PA Facility: Locums - WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital Health System: WellSpan Health Unit: Cardiology - Interventional - Franklin, 1275-62759 Shift: Days Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8a-6p (flexible) Start Date: Sep 01, 2026 End Date: Dec 01, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Open Positions: 1 Service Setting: Hospital, Clinic/Private Practice, Academic/Training Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Sep 01, 2026 – Dec 01, 2026 PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: 18-100 Average Daily Volume: 18 patients/day FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds: 270 EMR System: EPIC PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Temporary Privileges Available: Available only for true urgent needs; must be approved at the beginning of the process; for non-complex / clean files only Credentialing Timeline: 90 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Cardiology/Interventional/Electrophysiology JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: NP or PA certification required Licenses: Active PA license required DEA: Active DEA required Certifications: ACLS, BLS SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS All required documentation must be submitted no later than 5 business days prior to start Provider questionnaire required at time of submission NPDB self-query required at time of presentation, within 6 months Full disclosure on all malpractice required If the role includes specific coverage dates, your submission must clearly state exact dates the provider can work Submissions without rates will be rejected immediately Required Submission Packet: CV, Coversheet, Questionnaire, NPDB (pulled within the last 6 months) Duties & Responsibilities Provide clinical support within the Interventional/Electrophysiology department Manage patient care for a population aged 18-100 Collaborate with the assigned clinical team to ensure 40 hours of coverage per week Monitor patients postoperatively following interventional and electrophysiology procedures Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC EMR system
