Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Duluth, MN • Service Setting: Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: Jun 1, 2026 - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical only • Shift Schedule: 7 days/week - Mon-Fri; 8, 10, 12 hr shifts - Sat & Sun; 12 or 16 hr shifts - 30 mins unpaid lunch • Patient Demographics: All ages • No. of Cases per day: 1-2 longer cases or 3-4 shorter cases per 8-hr day. • Case Mix: - Cardiac, Complete Ortho, Complex Vascular, Head Spine, - Neuro, OB, Pediatric, Regional & Thoracic. • Duties: One to one patient care providing anesthesia in ORs, Cath lab, GI, EP, MRI & CT as needed; Caring for all patient age groups at a Level 1 trauma center. • Required Procedures: - General Anesthesia (Adult/Ped/Neonatal/Trauma) - All surgical cases BUT transplants & pediatric hearts -Spinal Anesthesia & Regional Anesthesia Surgery - Obstetrical & Neurosurgical cases - Open Heart Anesthesia - Thoracic cases & Complex vascular cases (except open heart), Complex orthopedic cases - Ventilation mgmt - Evaluation & mgmt of acute volume/BP issues - Arterial Line placement • Trauma Level: I • PEDS Level: II • No. of ORs: 26 • EMR: Epic • Other Info: - Would consider a candidate for weekend coverage only if local; Will be assigned to a location based on the dept. need. - Facilities are all very close to each other & most are connected. • Temporary Privileges available: Yes • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active MN License or ability to obtain • BC (NBCRNA) • CPR, BCLS/ACLS • Local is preferred
