JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Eureka, CA 95501 Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8a – 5p Reason for Coverage: Vacancy - Maternity / Paternity Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 18 patients/day FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: No Credentialing Timeline: 30-90 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required: Low risk pregnancy High risk pregnancy FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) OB Ultrasounds (Performance of, interpretation) JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC required Licenses: CA DEA: Active DEA required Certifications: BLS, NPR Experience: Minimum 1 year of office experience preferred Duties & Responsibilities Provide outpatient OB/GYN clinical services without delivery responsibilities. Manage both high-risk and low-risk OB patients. Perform and interpret dating ultrasounds. Provide newborn care as required. Maintain timely chart documentation and closure within 72 hours.
