Orthopedic Surgeon

June 26 7A - July 1 7A General orthopedic surgery. 24 hour call. Hospital will be on Meditech Expansion Board Certification Required. Please include NPI# in candidate bid. Must have active NC license and NC DEA (NC address). Provider must be vaccinated. Locums can expect: 0-3 consults per day 0-2 visits to ED for closed reductions and admissions 0-2 surgeries per day to include wrist, ankle and hip fractures and I&D Long bone trauma is stabilized and transferred Gratis hours capped at 4. We will not review any providers that offer less than 4 gratis hours. Surgeon will be provided hospital owned individual apartments onsite. Very nice and clean, cable and Wi-Fi. Any travel expenses will be capped at $500.00. This includes airfare, rental car OR mileage (not both). Per our bylaws, Provider must be within 20 minutes of hospital at all times on call. PROVIDERS MUST BE CREDENTIALED WITH MEDICAID/MEDICARE AND ENROLLED WITH PECOS AS A PROVIDER
