JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Radiation Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Ephrata, PA Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Jul 15, 2026 - Oct 14, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: EPIC Patient Demographics: Adult Patients per day: Treatment volumes average 14 patients daily, approximately 8 consults per week and 20 follow ups Hospital Bed size: 100 Support Staff: Oncology certified RN, physician access assistant, dietician, social worker, financial counselor, 4 radiation therapists averaging over 25 years of experience. PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Temporary Privileges Available: Available only for true urgent needs; must be approved at the beginning of the process; for non-complex / clean files only Credentialing Timeline: 90-120 days JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: PA license or IMLC LOQ Board Certification: BC or BE in Radiation Oncology DEA: PA address required Minimum Experience Required: 1 year Duties & Responsibilities Normal radiation oncology operations (clinic, inpatient consult although very few) participation is tumor board, chart rounds Ensure all clinical documentation meets facility standards. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. Adhere to all facility policies and procedures regarding patient safety and radiation protocols.
