Summary: Ref #: M-RN-295580 Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Consulting Registered Nurse (RN) - Multi-Specialty Clinic Job Type: Contract/Travel Start Date: ASAP Location: Robinson, IL Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8a-4:30p Shift Type: Days Rate: $2,424/40-hours Requirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (State-specific) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification Minimum 2 years of RN experience Minimum 2 years in Critical Care, Cardiac Care, or Procedural/Outpatient Specialty Settings Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Strong computer and documentation skills Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific evaluations Coordinate and ensure completion of interdisciplinary screenings and reassessments, including pain management Assist physicians during specialty procedures and operate specialty-specific equipment Educate patients and families on procedures, treatment plans, and follow-up care instructions Administer medications safely in accordance with nursing standards and patient-specific needs Monitor cardiac status, including telemetry, dysrhythmia recognition, and hemodynamic interpretation Utilize cardiac protocols such as stress testing and adenosine administration Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical documentation in the EMR system Communicate effectively with providers regarding patient condition changes and diagnostic results Support interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure continuity of care Adhere to patient safety standards and established hand-off communication protocols Maintain a secure and compliant clinical environment Cross-train across consulting specialties to provide flexible coverage Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives Perform additional duties as assigned
