RN - Renal

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse is an Integral member of the multidisciplinary team.  The Registered Nurse utilizes his/her knowledge, judgment and skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients under his/her supervision.  The Registered Nurse practice involves diagnosing and treating human responses to actual or potential problems, and provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being.  In addition it is a role of collaboration, coordination of services, and patient/family education.

Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:

1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 
2. Must possess current New York State license or current permit. 
3. Hemodialysis experience preferred but not required.
4. Successfully completes a training course, consisting of theory and practical experiences, and demonstrates the knowledge, skills and judgment to assume the responsibility of professional nursing care of the ESRD patient.
5. Current CPR required.
6. ACLS obtained within 6 months of hire.

Pay Range:

$38.63 - $55.19 per hour
