Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of payroll specialists responsible for end-to-end US and/or Canadian payroll processing. Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of payrolls, off-cycle payments, tax reporting, and year-end activities. Drive operational excellence through adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), quality standards, and productivity targets. Coach, mentor, and develop associates through regular feedback, performance management, and career development planning. Monitor payroll delivery metrics, workloads, and team capacity to ensure service commitments are consistently met. Act as the primary escalation point for complex payroll, taxation, compliance, and client service issues. Partner with clients, implementation teams, HR, Finance, Audit, and Compliance stakeholders to support payroll operations and issue resolution. Ensure compliance with applicable payroll legislation and statutory requirements, including: Canada: CPP, EI, ROE, T4, RL-1, provincial payroll regulations, and CRA requirements. United States: Federal, State, and Local tax regulations, W-2 processing, garnishments, FLSA requirements, and payroll tax compliance. Support year-end activities, audits, controls testing, and regulatory reporting requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies. Manage workforce planning, resource allocation, shift coverage, and business continuity requirements. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, employee engagement, and client satisfaction.

##LI-DNI10+ years of payroll experience with strong exposure to US and/or Canadian payroll operations. 2+ Globalview experience (MANDATORY) of people leadership experience small operations teams. Strong understanding of payroll legislation, taxation, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements. Experience managing payroll service delivery in a high-volume, client-facing environment. Demonstrated ability to lead teams through performance management, coaching, talent development, and change management initiatives. Experience working with payroll systems such as ADP GlobalView, SAP HCM Payroll, Workday, Ceridian Dayforce, UKG, or similar platforms. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels. Experience managing operational metrics, quality programs, productivity initiatives, and client escalations. Knowledge of payroll implementation, transformation, process improvement, or project management is preferred.
