As a PT or PTA, you’ll enjoy:

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities with clients, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and coordination.
  • Provide guidance and education to clients and their families on proper techniques for exercises, transfers, and ambulation.
  • Assess and document clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers, providing support and answering questions.
  • dhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards.
  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy and Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Michigan.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.
