Diagnose and resolve software, system, and infrastructure issues across Avandra’s products and internal tooling
Act as a technical point of contact for escalated or ambiguous issues impacting reliability, performance, or accessibility
Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of software, hardware, and internal systems

Contribute to the quality and reliability of Avandra’s software through structured QA processes
Write and maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, smoke tests)
Participate in release testing and validation efforts
Ensure appropriate test coverage for new features and critical infrastructure

Write scripts and tools for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Support infrastructure provisioning and configuration using automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
Improve system observability through logging, alerting, and dashboards
Identify repetitive tasks and build automated solutions to reduce manual effort

Experience in a technical role (support, QA, IT operations, help desk) or relevant academic, bootcamp, or project experience
Basic proficiency with Linux/Unix or macOS command-line environments
Familiarity with at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, JavaScript, Go, etc.)
Understanding of APIs, client/server concepts, and modern web applications
Ability to read and interpret logs, error messages, and system metrics at a foundational level
Basic experience with databases (queries, connections, or schema concepts)
