AERMOR is hiring a Security/E-Discovery & Records Management Administrator to take administrative action in response to reported electronic spillages of classified data, to include content search, quarantine, creating archival copies, and/or deletion of data.


Responsibilities Include:

 
  • Manage user data retention policies, including placing data in litigation hold.
  • Perform data discovery and archival and prepare for transfer to legal authorities.
  • Process requests and reviews for all public release programs including, but not limited to, FOIA/PA and records management.
  • Analyze FOIA, Privacy, and records management requests, including exemptions, correspondence, and workload tracking.
  • Utilize governing FOIA, Privacy, and records management policies and documentation to complete tasks.
  • Manage records lifecycle, including creation (capture), maintenance, use, and disposition.
  • Safeguard electronic records by maintaining fully declassified records in the command’s M365 Records Repository and ensuring proper documentation for transfer to NARA.
  • Conduct annual essential records risk assessments to evaluate storage vulnerabilities and ensure continuity of operations.
  • Create and maintain records management process documentation.
  • Assist with governance reviews and Operational Readiness Tests (ORTs).
  • Conduct Records Management demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders, including other agencies.
  • Administer SharePoint Online records management environments, including: realigning or renaming Records Management sites, adding, modifying, or removing records repositories, managing Records Management content types, managing term sets within SharePoint Online, configuring and maintaining managed properties (refinable), and managing Site Collection Administrators.
  • Administer Microsoft Purview compliance features, including: Managing retention policies and retention labels, adding, removing, and updating records labels, and managing Capstone Officials.
  • Provide recommendations to developers on automation improvements to support records management and site provisioning.
  • Respond to Tier II support requests requiring administrative access and advanced technical knowledge.
  • Address direct requests and inquiries from Records Managers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues (e.g., provisioning and permissions).
  • Support tickets related to records management to ensure a high-quality end user experience.
  • Perform Capstone and Non-Capstone eDiscovery requests.
  • Execute user cleanup activities for training and records management platforms (e.g., Planet Evolve).
  • Enable/disable user accounts based on information assurance events in coordination with Information Systems Security Managers.


Qualifying Requirements:
 
  • 3+ years IT experience with significant experience in Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  • Azure Fundamentals Certification.
  • Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals Certification.
  • Experience with Department of the Navy data and records management policies and processes.
  • Experience in compliance-driven environments, FOIA workflows, and litigation/investigative support.
  • Relevant experience as a Microsoft Exchange administrator.
  • Relevant experience as a Microsoft Teams administrator.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SharePoint Online administrative functions, including site collections, document sets, search capabilities, and Keyword Query Language (KQL).
  • Relevant experience as a Microsoft OneDrive administrator.
  • Solid understanding of Power Automate workflows and PowerShell scripting for records management tasks.
  • Understanding of cloud computing and networking.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL framework.
