What you’ll do
Translates Wealth strategy into operational plans, priorities, performance expectations, and informs resource requirements for the Affinity Wealth Management business.
Provides overall leadership and accountability for AWM business performance, including growth, member outcomes, service delivery and standards, operational effectiveness, and execution of Wealth priorities.
Provides people leadership and direction to leaders responsible for Wealth advice, sales, service, operations, and compliance, establishing clear accountabilities and ensuring alignment across teams.
Oversees coordination between Wealth teams and Advice Centre teams in relation to Wealth; Works with leaders across Advisory Services and other organizational units to integrate Wealth services, strengthen referral relationships, and improve the flow of work and member experience across channels.

What you’ve got
Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 10 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced understanding of Affinity Credit Union’s business objectives and divisional business operations
Advanced knowledge of wealth management operations, financial planning, investment solutions, regulatory requirements, and member advice delivery
Advanced knowledge in the development, implementation, and execution of divisional strategy which incorporates leading practices and innovative developments
Ability to lead, engage, and coach employees, set clear expectations, review progress, provide feedback and guidance, and hold people accountable
