This role is fully remote, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S. We understand the importance of work-life balance and provide an environment that supports this. Occasional travel may be required for client engagements or team meetings. We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to lead the technical vision and execution of our most complex enterprise implementations. This role is designed for a technical leader who bridges the gap between high-level solutioning and expert-level programmatic execution. You will serve as the "master builder," responsible for the programmatic integrity, integration landscape, and scalability of systems across Salesforce’s core clouds, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Architectural Oversight: Provide strategic oversight and technical guidance to consultants and developers during project build phases.
  • Solution Architecture: Lead the technical vision for complex enterprise implementations, bridging the gap between high-level solutioning and the team's programmatic execution.
  • Strategic Discovery: Engage with clients to gather technical requirements, assess current-state architecture, and map complex processes.
  • Code Quality & Review: Lead thorough code reviews for Apex and LWC, focusing not just on "fixing bugs," but on teaching design patterns, security best practices, and performance optimization to the developer.
  • Data & Integration Strategy: Design and implement scalable data models and strategies for Large Data Volumes (LDV), focusing on query performance and system health.
  • Integration Frameworks: Architect secure, scalable integration strategies utilizing middleware such as Informatica and/or Mulesoft, and native Salesforce integration patterns.
  • DevOps Excellence: Lead the implementation of robust SFDX workflows, version control, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, agile deployments.
  • Multi-Cloud Design: Architect complex, multi-cloud solutions that unify Salesforce core with Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud to meet diverse client needs.
  • Trusted Advisor: Partner with client stakeholders to gather technical requirements and assess current-state architecture, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Pre-sales Support: Assist the sales team by providing technical scoping, feasibility assessments, and high-level solution designs.

Requirements

  • Salesforce Expertise: 6+ years of Salesforce consulting experience with a strong track record in large-scale, enterprise project delivery.
  • Architectural Strategy: Demonstrated experience architecting scalable Apex (Service/Domain layers) and a deep understanding of the platform's programmatic limits.
  • SFDX & Tooling: Mastery of SFDX, CLI, and modern development environments to drive team efficiency.
  • Digital & Data Cloud: Experience architecting solutions for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud, including personalized journeys and unified data profiles.
  • Integration Middleware: Hands-on experience with Informatica and/or Mulesoft for complex data orchestration and ETL processes.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Nonprofit or Higher Education sectors is a significant advantage.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to clearly communicate intricate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
