Cost Accounting Manager

We are looking for a Cost Accounting Manager to join our Colors team in Lerma, Mexico. This role offers the opportunity to lead key cost accounting processes, partner with operations, and drive accuracy, control, and continuous improvement in a dynamic, international environment. 

What you’ll do:

• Lead and oversee standard costing processes, including maintaining cost structures, manufacturing routes, and bills of materials
• Manage and develop a small team, providing guidance, supervision, and performance support
• Analyze and control cost variances, identifying root causes and driving corrective actions
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to monitor cost changes, including raw material price fluctuations and production impacts
• Coordinate and oversee physical inventory processes, ensuring accuracy and strong internal controls
• Prepare and deliver accurate financial and cost reports to U.S. stakeholders and global teams

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in cost accounting or manufacturing finance, with prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and manufacturing processes
• Experience working with ERP systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) with the ability to work in a global environment
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
